2005 Toyota Prius bulb size chart

Catalog bulb positions and codes for the 2005 Toyota Prius. Confirm against your owner’s manual before buying.

Fitment notes

For the 2005 Toyota Prius, headlight bulb fitment depends on the headlight type. Models with halogen headlights use a 9003 bulb for both the low beam and high beam. Models equipped with HID headlights use a D2R bulb for both functions. Confirm the headlight system before ordering, since 9003 and D2R bulbs are not interchangeable.

Other notable lighting fitments include 7440A bulbs for the front and rear turn signals and a 7440 bulb for the reverse lights. The brake light and center stop light use integrated LED units. Parking, front side-marker, and tail lights are listed with either 2825 or 98 bulbs, while license plate, courtesy, and map lights use either 168 or 917 bulbs. The dome light uses DE3175, and the trunk light uses DE3022. No fog-light bulb fitment is listed for this model year.
