1.    Remove the old bulb (passenger side)
• Open the hood
• Swing the retaining arm open
• Pull the lam straight out

2.    Insert the new bulb
• Don’t touch the glass part of your new halogen lamp
• Wipe clean the bulb with an alcohol moisture paper towel (If dirty)
• Open the metal retaining arm to the left
• Insert your new bulb into the socket
• Push the metal retaining arm down to the metal hook
• Ensure the arm securely holds the bulb
• Push the rubber dust cap back

3. Turn Signal Bulb Socket
• Line up the connector
• Push the plug straight on the bulb
• Locate the turn signal light bulb (inner corner of the assembly)

4.  Replace the Bulb
• Rotate the light grey bulb socket
• Pull the bulb straight out
• Pull the old signal bulb straight out
• Push in a new one
• Re-insert the turn signal bulb socket
• Rotate the socket ¼ turn clockwise (securely)

5. Remove side marker bulb
• Locate the bulb at the outer corner of the headlight assembly
• Rotate the bulb ¼ turn counterclockwise
• Pull it out
• Push in a new bulb
• Re-insert the side marker bulb socket
• Rotate it ¼ turn clockwise (Securely)

6. Access the driver’s side headlight bulb and front side marker bulb
• Detach the engine fuse box
• Pull the front clip forward
• Pull the side clip outwards the outer edge
• Pull the gear clip out and backward
• Pull the fuse box up
• Set the fuse box aside towards the rear of your engine bay
• Lift out the coolant overflow bottle (to access the driver side turn signal bulb)
• Pull the coolant tank straight up
• Remove the mounting bracket connected to the battery tray

7. Test
• Test the lamps on the driver side (if you replaced them)
• Replace the coolant overflow and fuse box
• Turn on the headlights
• Activate the hazard signals
• Flash the high beams

  1. why don’t the major replacement headlight bulb companies offer LED bulbs?

    Sylvania, Philips, PIAA, etc have all been producing replacement headlight bulbs for many years and there must be a reason none of them offer an LED replacement bulb.

    All of the LED headlight replacement bulbs are from companies who have not been around for very long.
