Your Scion tC may need a new headlight, parking light or turning signal bulb. What boggles the minds of most Scion tC owners is finding the right replacement bulb size that fits into their vehicle’s lighting system.

Fortunately, there are a number of catalogued light bulb replacement guides prepared just for you. These guides help in replacing light bulbs, installing HID conversion kits and, changing broken light bulbs. They save you countless hours of struggle in deciding the right thing to do.

Some of the options available for your interior lighting bulbs include SMD and LED bulbs while those available for your headlamp bulb include a Xenon Headlight Kit and a High Intensity Discharge kit. You’re free to make use of the replacement light bulb sizes provided by headlight replacement guides.

Be aware that there are no warranties provided and the information should be used at the owner’s risk. Always verify all your bulb voltage, wattage and size details before applying the information.

Information providers are not responsible for any errors encountered in an automotive replacement bulb guide. Due to varied differences in bulb types and application, always confirm everything with your local car dealership or owner’s manual for the correct bulb type.

Aftermarket Light Bulbs: Upgrade Options

You can choose to customize your Scion tC with some chic custom tail lights, a modern third brake light, or some extra dazzling headlights. These are usually designed to give your Scion tC a final touch. They are of the highest quality and are built to enhance safe driving even under the harshest weather conditions.

The Scion tC debuted in 2003 and was a sport compact coupe built for the younger generation. It shared a 180-horsepower 2.5-liter engine with the Toyota Camry that delivered power through a 6-speed automatic transmission. The tC was an immediate hit and grew to be more popular than most sport coupes. Some of its features included reclinable rear seats and a panoramic glass roof.

Clear road visibility is highly dependent on functional headlights. Driving at night with broken or non-functional headlights does not only violate traffic rules but is also a danger to you, your family, and other motorists. Reliable lights will have you driving anywhere with confidence and without fear. It is, hence, only normal for you to replace any damaged or broken lights. There are multiple light bulb options available for you including Halogen bulbs, traditional incandescent bulbs, and LED bulbs.

Installation & Diagrams

The process of installing new headlights on your Scion tC is as follows:

  • Remove all the clips and screws holding the front bumper in place. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the 4 screws on the inside of the fender and the 6 screws at the bottom.
  • Hold the front bumper from both ends and pull it towards you. It should come straight off once you get all the screws and clips undone.
  • The headlights are fixed in place by retaining clips and 3 bolts – one on the side near the L-shaped bracket and two on top. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the screws and to pry off the clips.
  • Carry out a reverse installation process to put everything back in place.
