For the 2017 RAM 2500, the high-beam headlight uses a 9005 bulb. Low-beam fitment depends on the headlight design: trucks with projector-type headlights use 9005, while models without projector-type headlights use H11. Confirm the headlight style before ordering low-beam bulbs.
Several exterior locations also vary with projector-type headlights:
- Front turn signal, parking light, and front side marker: LED with projectors or 3157A without them.
- Reverse light: 7440 with projectors or 921 without them.
- Brake and tail lights: LED with projectors or 3157R without them.
- Rear turn signal: LED with projectors or 3157 without them.
The center stop light uses 921, the step light uses LED, and license plate and glove box applications may use 194 or 7441. Map lights use 578, the trunk light uses 921, and the engine light uses 561.
