For the 2016 RAM 2500, the high-beam headlight uses a 9005 bulb. Low-beam fitment depends on the headlamp design: trucks with projector-type headlights use 9005, while trucks without projector-type headlights use H11. Identify the headlight style before ordering low-beam replacements.
The projector-type configuration also uses LED lighting for the front turn signal, parking light, front side marker, rear side marker, brake light, tail light, and rear turn signal. Without projector-type headlights, those locations use replaceable bulbs instead:
- Front turn signal, parking light, and front side marker: 3157A
- Rear side marker: 3057A
- Brake and tail light: 3157R
- Rear turn signal: 3157
- Reverse light: 7440 with projectors or 921 without them
The center stop light uses 921, the step light is LED, and the engine compartment uses 561. License-plate and glove-box lighting may use 194 or 7441; the map light uses 578.
