The General Motors Company was born in 1909 after William C. Durant made his newly acquired company, Rapid Motor Vehicle Company, a branch of his General Motors Company.
The former had been founded in Pontiac, Michigan in 1902. In 1908, Durant took control of the Reliance Motor Car Company and together with the Rapid Motor Vehicle Company, he folded them to form the General Motors Truck Company in 1911.
In 1912, the initials “GMC” were adopted as the company’s brand name. All truck production activities were carried out at the Rapid Motor Plant 1 which was located in Pontiac, Michigan. Currently, GMC is an arm of General Motors which builds utility vehicles and trucks. Vehicles produced include sport utility vehicles, vans, pickup and commercial trucks, military vehicles, and buses.

A GMC light bulb size manual is a useful tool for anyone who wishes to replace their car’s lighting system. Whether you’re simply a GMC fanatic, novice or a professional automotive mobile electronics installer, a light bulb size guide saves a lot of time and makes the entire process easy. It can be used to replace the parking light bulb, the headlight or the turning signal, or; to install HID kits, LED light bulbs, and Sylvania headlight bulbs.
GMC has built a well-established reputation of building some of the toughest machines out there. In addition to all the toughness, the brand has continuously encouraged personal styles through its trademark. A good example would be the GMC Projector Headlights. These have contributed to the bold presence and exemplary style depicted by GMC.
There is a wide array of aftermarket GMC Headlights that will not only add flavor to your vehicle but also splash enough light on the road for clear visibility.
Some of the best GMC Halo Headlights and GMC headlights are provided by the most reputable manufacturers and even come preassembled and ready to lay in place.
GMC headlights are available in Blue Projector, JDM Black, Crystal Clear, Clear Chrome, Platinum Smoke, and many more styles. Due to their increased lighting distance and strong beam, GMC Angel Eyes Headlights are also available and come DOT approved. These enhance your driving safety and add a lot of exterior fashion.
