The 2018 BMW X6 uses different headlight bulb configurations depending on the factory headlight system. With HID headlights, the low beam and high beam use D1S bulbs. - Front turn signals use 5200 bulbs with HID headlights and LED units with LED headlights.

- Most interior applications, including dome, map, glove box, vanity, and step lighting, use LED bulbs.
- Trunk lighting may use either a 2825 or 98 bulb.
