The bulb types used in the BMW 5-Series vary depending on the model picked. There are five models that come with different bulb types for the headlights and fog lights. These models include the 528i, 530i, 535i, 540i, and 550i.
Depending on the model year, the 528i comes with either an H6024, 9005, 9006, D36, or H7 bulb for its high beam and low beam headlamps. It then uses the H1, 893, H16LED, or H8LED bulb for its fog lights.
The 530i and 540i use an H6024, H6054, H4701, H4703, 9005, 9006, or 9003 bulb for their high beam and low beam headlights. They then use the 9140LED, 9145LED, or NEON bulbs for their fog lights.
The 535i uses the 9003, H7, and H11 bulbs for its high beam and low beam headlights. It then uses the H16LED and H8LED bulbs for its fog lights. The 550i, on the other hand, comes with a D1S or NEON bulbs for its low beam and high beams. It then uses NEON bulbs for its fog lights.
