An essential part of the Audi A4 is its headlights, which play a necessary component in your safety and car’s appearance. So if you want to improve the performance and aesthetic appeal of your vehicle, then replacing/upgrading the headlights can do that for you perfectly.

What type of Headlights Does A4 Come with?

There is no surprise that earlier models of A4 used Halogen lights, but later on, the more luxurious models could change halogens for HIDs and LEDs.

Currently, all companies are using LEDs across the board, so the latest models (all trims) come with LEDs.

The good news for people with older models is replacing their halogen headlights with HID or LED aftermarket options. But keep in mind if you go from OEM halogen to HID or LED, the replacement process will be complex, and you might need assistance from a professional. However, if you want to replace your vehicle’s headlight with an OEM, that’s very simple; you can do it yourself at home.

How much will the Headlights Replacement Cost?

It depends. If you want to replace the bulb with a halogen, you will have to pay $20 for bulbs and $100 for labor, but if you wish to HIDs or LEDs, the bill might go up to $300.

Replacing the whole assembly in your Audi A4 will be expensive, and it can cost anywhere between $300-$1000, depending on your choice.
